Answer: Propeller (Drive) Shaft lengths are specified as 49.50 inches (for a 440 or 426 Hemi with A-727 & Dana 60, the Shortest D/S length) to 53.30 inches (for a 383 with A-727 & 8 3/4" rear axle, the longest D/S length). The attached photo is of the 1971 Dodge (Factory) Chassis Service Manual, Group 16-12, Specifications, (Group 16 being the "Propeller Shaft and Universal Joint" section):

D_C pro stock Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,373 Rancho Cucamonga, CA	Sorry, I only have the Dodge Manual, but my "best guess" is that they would be the same dimensions as for a '71 Charger. The bodies (panels, sheet metal) are of course a bit different, but would think the underlying chassis' should be pretty close to identical. Maybe you could start a New post asking if '71 RR and Charger Chassis' are identical? I pulled the A727 trans, 8 3/4 rear and HD Leaf Springs from a '71 Road Runner that was (sadly) located at a Pick-A-Part junkyard around 2003. Would have been a restorable car, as most everything was still there and a no rust, California car, when it was sent there for parting out. I saw the hood off it at a swap meet a month or so later. It was yellow.
