The only one that is significantly better is the really late 71 block that actually used the 400 thick web block without being bored to 400 bore size. Other than that and the early RB 383 (JUNK) they are all the same.
I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

I would look for a 400 block and use it ![up up](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/thumbs_up.gif) Forget that thin main web 383 ![iagree iagree](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/iagree.gif) The much bigger bore of the 400 block will definitely make more power.
