Time for you to do some back country adaptation and fix the problem. Engineer something. Not everything on these old cars is plug and play. That is what makes them interesting. up

I have no idea what to do, this line sees over 100 psi and the gasket leaks at 30 psi

A file will leave a really rough finish that will not seal.

You either need to replace the bad part or pull it off the car and lap it flat.

I have a similar issue on a 75 Dart. The problem is similar to a really thin flange on a header getting warped from over tightening. The flange on the hose connector is really too thin. Someone overtightened mine and bent it slightly. The whole flange needs to be thicker. On mine you could actually see the freon slowly bubble out of the connection past the gasket. Check the flange for straightness and adjust accordingly, and use whatever you can fashion (washers, etc) on the bolt to add some more rigidity to prevent it from warping. IIRC that gasket is like an old school composite head gasket - fibrous material sandwiched between perforated aluminum. And isn't there an o-ring on that connection, too? I seem to remember a groove cut into the face of the compressor at that connection.

Only one way I know to make it flat - remove it and adjust it with a hammer against a flat surface, then take a straight edge to check for straightness. Once flat skim it lightly with a flat file to remove any bumps or high spots. A good vise may have a flat surface on it to use like an anvil - mine does. Can also use the vise jaws - open them up and let the flange sit on the jaws while the tube site in the space between the jaws and tap on the side needing flattening.

Not unless that flange is warped on the compressor, and I can't see that happening as the whole casting would be warped. Might check it with a straightedge, sand/file/wire brush it flat too. Is there an o ring there and are the receiver grooves clean? Is there enough compression to squish the o ring to make it seal?
