Badge OP member B Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 96 Oregon	I am wondering if the switch sends 12 volts to the solenoid when it is in park? Or, does it remove the voltage? I am assuming the simple switches on 727 transmissions are nothing more than a voltage switch?

Pacnorthcuda Too Many Posts Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 21,843 Kirkland, Washington	The switch provides the ground to the starter relay (when engaged) and disconnects the ground if not in park or neutral. Also operates the back up lights, as a secondary/dual purpose.

stumpy I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 32,970 Grand Prairie,Texas	The center terminal is the ground for the starter relay and the two outside terminals are in and out for back up lights.
