I'm installing an EFI system on my 1971 Cuda and I'm wondering if any of the vendors offers EFI fuel lines? I know there are many ways to set up EFI fuel lines with the regulator as well as the return line, but just wondering if any of the vendors have a decent system?

Aeromotive may have a pre-packaged setup... very spendy and you still have to cut to length.

Mostly, its DIY. Sketch out the system, pick your hose material and have at it. On mine, I used re-pop steel lines to get from front to back with the feed and return line. 3/8" supply and 5/16" return. Advantages are they package well, especially around the tricky rear spring mount, are tough and not too spendy.

I used a "loop" system where the fuel flows: pump > first fuel rail > second fuel rail > regulator > return. This setup has fast positive purge of air. One drawback is the fuel probably picks up more heat circulating over the engine.

In the engine compartment and also for tank and filter hook up I used braided stainless. Done again, I would consider using the lighter composite hose. Both are a bit spendy.

I was afraid of that -- but not surprised either. You would think that with EFI tanks for B bodies and E bodies out there right now, you would start seeing complete EFI fuel line sets by FineLines or Inline or ??? At least something with a delivery and return line like you're talking about, because that's what I need too.

With the stock steel lines (Inline tube), I cut where needed at the ends, double flared and installed pipe thread adapters. From there, flex line.

Push-lok fuel line is the lowest cost and most simple route. The fittings are easy to install and Push-lok is NHRA/IHRA legal. I have converted quite a few cars over to EFI and normally I have modded a stock tank for EFI but I used the RobbMC Powersurge on my 71 RR an so far it is working well. With the Powersurge you can use your stock tank and the high pressure fuels lines are pretty short and saves some money and hassle.

Steve88,do you have a pic of the powersurge installed in your runner? was it easy to fit?
