A boat, a GMC truck, some Craftsman Tools, LOTS of Zombie Protection, and a few Goldfish..

If you love someone set them free..
If they come back it means nobody else wanted them either..!!

I thought only the c bodies had that power trunk release setup. Never seen one on a B Body. I've pulled a dozen or so of those from mid to late 70's C Body cop cars and luxury liners. They are a great option to install.

My 73 Road Runner GTX has it (was on the car when I got it) but I don't know if it is factory (I don't have the cars fender tag or build sheet). The button for mine is in the glove box, left side upper of the box. It does not have the bezel.

It works a whole lot better than my 2000 LHS!! The LHS must have a stretched and/or broken wire in the harness in the hinge area. I just haven't had the time to replace it.

There is an option listing for remote deck lid release, and wiring diagrams in the ’72 documents. I agree, pictured unit is from later year production. I’m running one myself, button mounted in glove box, left side upper. Also relayed into the alarm remote control.

The 70 trunk release was vacuum operated...71-72 was electric but it was a huge mechanism with a barrel almost the size of a wiper motor barrel...
