Are these painted? All aluminum?? Got mine out tonight and thought the inner rib parts were painted black. Upon further inspection it looks like they are all solid aluminum.. Anybody? Thanks, Kevin

They are anodized aluminum with the recesses painted gray and the edges and ends left bare aluminum. There used to be a retired Chrysler engineer who would re-do them and did a good job, although he was expensive. But the last set I had him do was 15+ years ago.
