I purchased a 5.2 Magnum to install in my '84 Ram. I am keeping the serpentine drive. Is there a carb intake available that allows the A/C compressor to stay in the stock location?

Crosswinds is the only one I know off. The others push the water outlet to the pass side and would likely interfere with the compressor.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Check out the Edelbrock 7577 for the 318 and 360 Magnum engines. I have the knock off intake and I had to trim my front engine bracket and AC will not fit on my engine. My brother has the Edelbrock 7577 and his bracket went on great and he can run the AC compressor no problem. You want the thermostat to the passenger side of the engine because the compressor sits on the drivers side and is deeper than the alternator. I will be switching to the 7577 soon.

Thanks for the advice!

Just made a deal on a new Edelbrock 7577 for $150, still new in the box!

UPDATE. :-(

Just received my $150+shipping Edelbrock 7577 intake manifold BOX.

Inside the Edelbrock 7577 BOX was a Mopar Performance M-1 Magnum intake.

Definitely not a great deal, definitely not ideal for my D350, and I'm gonna go ahead and guess that there's no way I can use the factory A/C brackets. (?)

Well, crap. Time to get the wallet out again.

I just did this with a 5.9 in my '79 Magnum. The only issue I have is the tapped port for the heater hose is under the Magnum's A/C pump and bracket.
Soulition? No problem.
The Edelbrock intake has 2 tapped holes for a temp sending unit. Choose one and drill and tap. I went to the local machine surely shop and purchased a tap and drill to do the job.
It took 20 minutes with a cig brake.

I choose the hole to tap behind the Alt. as to for surely clear the A/C pump. It may clear the A/C pump but I'm not sure. You'll also need a plug for the hole under the Magnums acc. bracket.
