I am looking for info on the E-Body seat back time frame of when they went from the recline button metal piece was changed to where the button opening was incorporated with the seat back vinyl. I am looking at a 71 Cuda that has the later molded button, but the SPD is newer than my 71 Challenger and has the separate metal button bezel. I have had the Challenger since 1980 and it is all original, and that is what is making me think the Cuda may have later seats instead of the ones correct for it.

It was around December of 70 when they changed the seat backs.

My Challenger spd is 928 Sept. 28th, while the Cuda I am looking at has a spd of A11 which I figure to be October 11th, well ahead of December production. Anyone else with info would really be appreciated.
