What's the excepted cut over date when Chrysler switched from Inland to Hurst shifters in 68? When did head rests become mandatory? Thanks

Can't help with the shifter but head rests were mandatory after 1/1/69

There was a post on this topic within the last few months. I remember the discussion including the addition of the dash 'Reverse' light at the same time as the Hurst didn't have the reverse lockout the Inland did.

I have never read a definitive, authoritative date on the changeover from Inland to Hurst and the parts book is no help. There must have been a TSB.

Thanks every buddy. I'm guessing mid Jan as a build date. I always thought head rests where mandatory Jan 1 68. Kind of a odd ball car, standard non ralley 150 dash, with tach, console, am radio, manual steering and brakes, with stripe. GG1 with black interior.
