I need an ignition box for the Demon. I will be running an n/a combination for now, also some street driving.
Just wanted to know is the Grid 7720/7730 proving to be reliable? are racers having any common problems with them?
I would like to get the latest/greatest with the ability to have the add-on options later.
the main reason for asking is that I've had a 7al2 for 10 years without a single glitch, I have not used any of the digital boxes yet.

I have one but haven't used it yet.
But I found it on ebay for 899.00 with both box's and the coil, so I called jegs and they matched the price .

Dig around online, racing junk is a good source. Lots of guys will sell them at cost which I think is both boxes for $720, the guy in Florida will even ship it free

Never really had any issues with one.

What are you guys doing through your grid? Nitrous? Retards? Etc.. I have one but haven't used it, sort of intimidated by it right now.
Thanks

Timing curve and shift light. Intend to connect up to a RacePak when I get one.

Lots of stuff smile Honestly in an NA car there are a lot of things that are not necessary. We integrate it with the racepak and mainly use it for timing curves

I use it for all the basic ignition stuff...rev limiters, launch and nitrous retards. Once nice thing is the ability to have files saved that you can quickly download for different conditions. Comes in handy for those "unsanctioned" races where there's zero prep.
