I discovered a small (about 1 inch) crack in my otherwise PERFECT green dashpad for my 71 Charger. Any recomendations?

I believe Permatex makes a vinyl repair adhesive. Most auto parts stores carry. Apply with an artists brush.

Doug,

Try www.drvinyl.com. The previous poster put an extra dot in the web address by mistake.

Thanks brother! You know how hard it is to find a mint 71 pad in green? I looked for that pad for years!

be careful with it! if there's 1 crack now, it's already hard and brittle and it really wants to split even more on you.

particularly AFTER you remove it and repair the current crack!

Yea...I hear you. It's already off the dash frame...been that way since I bought it. I had it stored in the attic for a few years so that may be why. I should have wiped it down with Vaseline before I stored it. I did that with a black one I had and it softened it up quite a bit. It's not to bad a crack, it started where they all do, right in the corner of where the speaker grill goes...
