I was originally going to ride the V65 Sabre out there and haul it back in the bed.

But after looking at what fuel would cost with the 440 and 4.10s, I realized it is cheaper to just drive out with the Cummins and a trailer and drag it back.

We are getting closer to home. Just over 3K miles so far. I just discovers that the 35 gallon tank in my borrowed 12 valve Ram is only effectively 31.37 gallons. And that once the fuel light comes on just under a quarter tank, you can only go 17.3 miles at 50 MpH pulling 8K lbs...

Fortunately, the 440 in the '78 was more than up to the task of pulling the Ram. whistling

More truck porn. The front seat is very nice under the cover, BTW.

Cool truck! Congrats.

I'd love to find one to do a Cummins swap with my 92 CC.

I made her earn her keep for the last leg home.

Never even know it was back there.

I have been hoarding aluminum slots for quite some time. I think I have a home for a set of 8 lugs now. (after a little drop)
