Any lifter that fits the size of the hole should work fine . Does it have oil holes drilled in them , they be needed for hydraulic lifters

We always bushed for GM lifters. Lots of options, weight, length, offset and the price is easier than the mopar stuff. Don't do it if going to hydraulic flat tappet or solid, the larger mopar lifter allows for a better ramp profile on the cam than the smaller GM. The GM roller will lighten up the valve train some with rollers.

I use the 829 tappets in my bushed block. Over 200 passes at .800" lift@7100. Lash has been spot on at every check.
