I've had my share of B-Bodys. I see this one on Ebay this morning.(Another "Frame-Off Resto...)

Anyhoo, anyone know what the tube is in the right hand side of the Trunk in this pic? Curious, thanks!

My friends Superbird also has that tube and his car is a California Emissions car. Part of the evap. system I think.

The tube is part of the N95 emissions package. I have it on my 70 RR built and sold new in California.

Contains the fuel tank vapor separator, part of the E.C.S. (Evaporation Control System), for cars built for California in 1970. Starting in 71’ became standard on all US production and changes in design would allow the separator to remain under the trunk floor or wheel well and not intrude into trunk spaces.

Late production 72’ B-body version

Silly question but where does the top end go? Just pokes up above the wheel housing?
Just curious.

yes, top end doesn't go anywhere. It's for vapor and is sealed. just needed to be higher than the tank.
