I do not have the sticker in the trunk that shows how to mount the tire and jack assembly. Could someone post a picture, and maybe a copy of the sticker, so that I can mount my spare correctly. Thanks!!!

It uses a "J"-hook and the spare either face down or face up ("face" being the red or white line side). With the tire face down the hook and jack base are inside of the rear of the rim and would seem to be better and lower over all. None the less either direction the j-hook hooks to the welded in mount (click and see this thread here) goes through wheel center, through the base that centers the wheel then through the jack hook and held in place by wingnut.

The jack and lug wrench (jack pump handle) should go under the spare with the jack in the groove of the welded in mount and held down by the plate and smaller wingnut.

This is a '69 but very similar..

I have a better photo of the instructions but for now here's this one, sorry.
