Car bout done with paint. Has buldge hood. Will a 440. I have a extra 6 pack setup all new for it. Does a 6 pack car have differnt emblem ? Or just 440 magnum? Are they the same emblem as on a challenger? I see new ones for challenger but not a 71 charger

Actually, I believe it is the same part number as Challenger Emblem.

A 71 charger (r/t?) And a 71 super bee. Has 2 differnt emblems?
Does the emblems have the post on back or are that stick on?
If post. Would they fit the same holes thats in a 74 buldge hood? (For charger)

I have had both 71 R/T's and 71 Super Bee's. Normally the Super Bee Came Standard with 383 with an indented hood with 383 Magnum Emblem. You could bump up to a 440 Six Pack or Hemi and each one would have a different emblem. There were also 26 71 Super Bees Made with a 440 magnum and I used to have one. They all had tips on the emblems and the hood had holes punched in it as far as I know. The 71 Charger of course was standard with a 440 and usually had the Hood with the louvers in it or the air grabber hood. Optional would also be 426 Hemi or 440 Six Pack. In 74 The six pack was no longer available nor the Super Bee Package.They did make around 200 440 Rallye cars and I believe the emblem was the same, but just a bulge hood with no indentations, louvers or air grabber. Most Chargers in 74 had the 318 or 400 with flat hood. Hope this helps.

Possible to get a measurement on the pins on back of the 440 six pack emblem I can check the distance apart of the holes in my hood?

Hmmm... a 74 bulge hood shouldn't have holes for emblems....they went to stick on emblems in 73.

That being said...the 71-2 emblems all have the same pin layout, so you should be OK.

I can get measurements for ya. I currently have 340 MAGNUM,440 MAGNUM and 440 Sixpack emblems.

The reason the Superbee and the R/T are different, is that the Superbees had the emblems mounted in the hood insert, not on the outer buldge of the hood as the R/T hoods do.

Now a Superbee with the Ramcharger Hood.....used the same emblems as the R/T.

That would be very helpfull. The hood is a 74 buldge hood (no vents on rear of it) hood was a very nice un repainted hood. No chips around the hole. Leaves me to belive that was there sence new..

The pin spacing on all Charger hood emblems are the same. I think the Challenger emblem looks different...but uses the same pin spacing, so it should fit

For the record, I compared the pin layout for the following 71 charger emblems:

340 Magnum
440 Magnum
426 HEMI
440 Sixpack

The '74 bulge hood had:

0 holes in the 318 and no emblems
2 holes for the 360 with "MAGNUM" emblem
3 holes for the 400/440 with "400 MAGNUM" or "440 MAGNUM" emblem

The '74 hood simply never had vents.

My 73 340 charger with a buldge hood had holes for emblem pins.

Right. A difference between '73 and '74. 340 went to a 360 and the emblem changed.
Also, '73 had vents in the rear.
