So my truck was lowered by the previous owner by cutting the springs on the front and beltech front leaf mount on the rear. I have a set of thicker coil springs from a Durango I would like to put in to get back to stock height and improve cornering VS stock. How do I measure it? What was it? What tires did they use to measure it? Is there a spec for like lower BJ to frame difference?
I am thinking I will have to cut these springs and install a couple times to get it right so I need to know what I am aiming for.
Also on the rear can I just get the frame mount thing off any 2wd dakota or was the R/T different?
I want stock R/T ride height all around because all the pot holes and the speed bumps in my neighborhood suck.
I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

on the rear, the spring hangers are all the same. (at last for all 2wd dakotas...haven't really looked at hangers on a 4wd truck) the only thing the factory changed on the rear was the leaf spring and shocks. all you should have to do is change the hangers back to stock.
up front, I don't know that anyone has published actual ride heights because the weight of the trucks were different based on options. I would just aim for what you like and think looks correct after you get the rear back to stock height.
Front was believed to ride 1" lower than the rear as well.
