What brand and type of rod and main bearings do you recomend?
340 smallblock.

What appication and use, street,race only or both? If race only I like and use the Clevite tri metal CL77 series on automatic, if stick shift then I use babbit rod and main bearings. If street only most any decent bearings with the proper clearances will work, Clevites, Fel Pro, Seal Power and so on. I haven't used any of the King bearings yet so no comment on them shruggy
