How close did the rears get to the target number I gave you Tom? Unsure what # you mean.... Unless it was 1, as in 1st place is the target... ....springrate.

Thanks guys. The Valiant is handling nicely, but I'm going to keep pushing to find ways to get it to he next level. Scored this set of Rotiform Forged 18x10.5 wheels off Craigslist for $400, because one had a small crack at the bead and one had a small dent. They weigh 20 lbs, which is 7 lbs less than my current front wheel, and 9 lbs less than each of my rears... That is a nice amount of weight dropped and for the money spent averaging under $200 per corner, sell off the old wheels and I bet you are at even money. Now since you dropped that kind of weight have you noticed better response from the car into and out of the turns? As well as the stopping distance can you go deeper into the corners now?

So why are you running the earlier sway bar?
I thought the later one was superior in that it was tucked up better being inside the k-frame, and the shorter arms made the bar effectively stiffer than the early bar. Read the whole thread but I don't remember reading anything about why to run that one.
Nice car, BTW! Well done.

Actually I had forgot this had happened, I ordered the Hotchkis kit before I had a 73+ K member, so I ordered the older car kit. After the steering wouldn't clear the Dougs Headers using the old K and suspect slant six conversion motor mounts, I switched to a 73+ spool mount V-8 K. Dan made the older sway bar work on the new K. I have since heard that since it's bigger and mounts in a different location the 72 and earlier sway bar may actually be stiffer anyway.
