anybody ever used these guys for your carbs. looking to get a pair of carbs that are set up for a blower and these guys have popped up a few times. thanks for any info,jeff

If you are talking about the Allstate that is carbdoc on ebay, I bought Edelbrock 1405 from them that I use on my RR. It has been perfect in every way since about 2008 or so.

yes that is same place. they have good feedback on ebay and from their website they seem to know their stuff but its always good to get first hand reveiws. thanks

I got a 3310 from them when I was living in NYC. They answered every question I had & asked me specific questions about what I was building. Ran great out of the box. Reasonable pricing too.

I use them for rebuild & tuning parts, good folks & very reasonable. Whether it's a Holley DP or an old flathead Ford carb, they've known their stuff every time. Haven't bought a carb from them, though. But it would appear that they would be good at that as well.

quick update i called jim over at allstate carb. and placed order for carbs. he asked me all the right questions about car, motor, cam,drivetrain. a week and a half later they showed up. they were rebuilt used but looked as good as new.bolted them on the car fired right up no sputtering, popping, idles smooth cruises smooth couldnt ask for any more. kudos to them ,jeff

If so, there "MoPar guy" left to form Competion Carbs. Both have a good reputation for excellent work.

yes thats the place. i had heard about competition carbs also but was never successful when i tried to contact them. like i said i couldnt have hoped for any more than i got
