dvw master Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 9,883 MI, usa	I'm not sure if your asking if outriggers between the subframe and the rocker are legal to land the main hoop? The answer is yes. The angled short bar in your picture is referred to as the"D" bar. It should attach at the intersection of the main hoop and the shoulder bar. It's intention is to prevent the main hoop from moving left or right on impact. I also like to plate the inside of the rocker with thicker material to spread the load. My cage is certed to 8.50. BUT we normally drop that tube from the main hoop cross bar then angle over to the frame connector.. remember that magic word.. triangulation .. also... use the hole saw to cut that joint... it'll be a pretty long cut but it'll come out nice(cut the extra material out of the ID of the hole saw) EDIT You can see it on the right Last edited by MR_P_BODY; 05/25/15 12:07 PM.

If your talking the cross bar yes it suppose to be there.. 3" below the shoulder is the spec(if I recall correctly)
