Does anyone remanufacturer the lower control arm / front strut rod bushings like the original as shown in the attached pic from a 1970 Duster? I recently purchased a set from Moog (K7040) and the bushings were not the same shape as the original, so I believe there is a potential for ground out because the shape is not the same.

The Moog style bushing referenced does not have the mushroom shape like the original (as shown in the pic). The Moog style is roughly a 1/4" thick of rubber with a hole for the bolt to pass through and two metal washers. When the parts tech at the Chrysler dealer looked up the part in their inventory system, it resembled the original shape, but when the Moog part was pulled from the shelf, it was clearly not the same shape.

Not gonna find an aftermarket bushing that is the same as the original.

This is as close as physically resembling you will get

But it's poly not rubber.

on a 1974 satellite, it matter which month the car was made in. There are 2 different styles.
