J Brough OP member J Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 55 Md.	I need to find a passenger side seat for the 70 challenger that I am restoring. The driver seat is in OK shape for a core to restore. The driver seat has the large black button to release the seat back and what appears to be cast aluminum hinge covers. I think the seat is probably original to the car. I've seen seats with a similar design hinge cover, but molded in plastic. Can someone school me on the 70 ebody bucket seats and the differences in them so I can hopefully find a seat that matches the one I have. Thanks in advance, John Brough

Alaskan_TA Fluffy Balladeer A Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 29,654 Hamtramck, PA	The 1970 style with the removable hinge covers was used until sometime during the 1971 model year, at which time the backs & covers were all one piece. The seat frames from any A, E or B-body from 1970 - mid 71 are the same, you would just need the correct foam for your application, just make sure it has the early style back frame.
