Hi, A friend is looking for plain valve covers that can be painted stock blue to match his motor and fit on his fresh stroked 383 with roller rockers. Rockers have not been bought by builder yet so I am unsure which they are getting. Can is custom 597 lift if that matters. I told him I thought these would fit but if anyone has a better/ cheaper option, please let me know. No fins, lettering, and prefer not fabbed/welded..etc.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BBM-SMOOTH-POLIS...R-/131287543825Thanks, Pete

I just measured 3&5/8" up from the valve cover rim perimeter on my super stealths & it'd be a sure bet that they'd clear anything you could put in there.

1.5 Harland Sharps fit under stock '69 big block covers with the baffles notched or removed. If your friend wants a 'stock' look it only takes some grinding to remove the baffles.
