Any special type of paint needed to paint the hard dash pad or will Rustoleum be OK .

Rustoleum makes a rattle can formula that works on plastic, metal and wood. I think I have a can or two in my shop...I just have to find it.

I did the dash and door panels in my truck. clean/scuffed mine and shot it with some 2k primer then paint/clear with some paint I had left over from another fender repair.

only issue I have is the gloss coat blinds you in the sun light when just right on the top of dash.

I am going to scuff it and shot it with a dull coat on the top 1/2 or flat black with dull coat.

turned out good and holds up well so far. I post a pic later.
