Hey guys,
I was sorting some parts today and I came across this convertor. No name, but it has a set of what look like part #'s. I have not been able to locate anything on those #'s but thought maybe someone here has seen or had one of these. I measured it across and the stock 71 727 six pack convertor next to it was over 11 inches diameter and this one came in right around 10 inches. The stock one looks MASSIVE compared to this one in diameter and thickness. I did find something on the web that it might be a TCI but I can not get any cross reference on that for specs. Anyone know what this one is??

Numbers on it K1422K
U7185

A 383 TC is 10" and has a little higher stall than a stock 440 TC. All 69 model cars with 440 CI motors had the same 11" TC

It's a TCI 10" Streetfighter 1422. I would email TCI for the specs.

Looks like you have a good TC...spec says stall about 1500 rpm higher than stock. You need to get the flex plate and bolts that goes with it because it takes bigger Hemi size bolts.

TCI calls the #1422 Street Fighter a 10" converter but, from the look of the ring gear, it's no smaller than a factory 11". Advertised as 3600-3800 stall.

Thanks for all the input guys as I have now discovered it is too loose for my combo. I need something like the turbo action 17501. I guess I will have to shelf this one. thanks
