Called milodon and the guy says 3-4 more weeks for the pickup. I'm calling summit to cancel my order. I'll make the durango pickup work. F_U milodon.
Man that really sucks! I was hoping that my calling in for the pick-up would also get yours made as they said that a few others would get plated? A custom pick should not be too hard to weld up

Just before you shook their tree, Rylis, they had sent me an e-mail saying I was looking at mid-March. Then a couple days later, I got shipping confirmation. I was hoping everyone who was waiting was gonna be taken care of...

Hey just a heads up, I pulled my radiator yesterday and when I checked the zinc anode it was all ate to crap. I had last checked that thing about 2 years ago and it was still in good condition. My radiator still works fine no leaks so I didn't think the galvanic corrosion would be that bad. I was amazed to find the anode to basically crumble in my hands. With this new motor I went and got a new aluminum radiator and will replace my hoses with some Gates green stripe hoses, http://www.gates.com/products/automotive...ly-coolant-hosereplaced the steel water neck with an aluminum piece, and will put in another sacrificial zinc anode. Also going to use some aluminum engine specific coolant and flush more often.

Picked up my parts from the machine shop yesterday. I'm now the proud owner of a torque plate. Really messed up my budget but I didn't have a choice. So today I went to start assembling the short block. I was just going to throw the crank in there are run it but thought better of that and set up the dial indicator, lay in the crank and check it for straightness. Done for the day, crank is bent about .0035". Not sure what that is about. Since they had to send the crank out to get ground and I did not have them assemble it, I can't blame the machine shop I guess. I could straighten it myself, but that would require me to build some V blocks - besides I just spent some money to have it worked on. Since I paid someone to grind the thing, I'll talk to the machine shop on Monday and have them straighten it. Disappointed that the place that ground the crank either didn't straighten it or it bounced around in the truck on the way back to the machine shop.

Wow,if you didn't have bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all!
