I am new to this forum so please be easy on me.

I am building a blown 528 hemi. I have a cast iron mopar performance block with 4.5 inch cylinder bore.
I have an opportunity to buy a set of ported mopar performance aluminum heads at a real good price. When i did some research i found that mopar offers 2 part#s for 426 hemi aluminum heads. The description and pn "ALUMINUM BARE MACHINED HEAD (426 HEMI)" P4529336 and the other is "ALUMINUM CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY (528 HEMI CRATE ENGINE)" P4876857. The description for each of these heads is the same 2.25 intake 1.94 exhaust and 170 cc volume. Does anyone know the difference in these 2 heads other than one appears to be an assembly and the other is a bare head. I just dont want to end up buying a pair of heads that will not work with my 528 block.

Yes guys same head. These are the Pre Edelbrock made heads. The new Edelbrock made heads for Mopar are part numbers P5153875 and P5153779 Same deal. One is bare and 1 comes assembled.
the assembled heads have ok valves and hardware but I would check all that carefully to make sure it matches what you are doing with them.
