Carsavior OP super stock C Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 889 Monroe, LA USA	Got new rear main seal from Summit a few minutes ago. Directions say soak side strip in mineral oil. Side strip are made of blue silicone (?). Thought rubber side strip went in the retainer dry and you oiled the block, at least with the orange ones. Anyone use the blue ones?

DO NOT soak them in Kerosene or Mineral Spirits or you may just end up with a blue blob in your hands. Mopar Performance was supposed to change the instructions with the addition of these new seals
