Looking at the specs on holley's page it looks like they both use the same main body, 1 3/8" venturi's but the 750 uses a
1 11/16" base plate and the 950 uses 1 3/4". I can't find any #'s for the main body. the metering block are a diff#.

So the Question is can I take a 750hp main body and use a 1 3/4 base plate to make a 950? obviously there will be some tuning required but will the bigger base plate bolt up?

Gary.

you could probably do the swap with no issues but don't expect the hybrid to flow 950cfm. why? because a 950hp won't even flow 950cfm. it's just marketing numbers. i'm not telling you to do it or not to do it. just don't expect anything magical because it ain't gonna happen.

not expecting anything magical just looking for a slight improvement. I started with a 750vs and now an 800dp and I picked up a 750hp main body and am debating, keep it a 750 or convert to 950,
What's involved? just a base plate swap or are there some passages that would need to be modified?

When I saw this post, my first thought was who would be first to say it.

It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....

Mr340....the problem with doing what your talking about is the body of the 750 isnt opened up to match the 1.750 size baseplate like a true 950 body is....so you will basically not really gain a darn thing.....The 750 body is sized to match the 1.720 baseplate.....build on.....Jesse @ BIGS!!
