RIP my friend. Phil and I made the trek to Norwalk. I broke a bunch of wheel studs on my trailer. He un-hooked his trailer and we went off searching for parts. He was a huge help in helping me fix my issues. He was a very good friend that died way too young. I still remember there was some sort of full moon at Norwalk, I Think B3 might have had something to do with it!

Phil called me back in the mid to late 1980s when he was in the Air Force at GAFB in Victorville, I got to know him and his wife before they had thier daughter from that call. He had stuck a 383 in a 1972 Dart from back east, I ended up taking that car(Bob R has it now I think) in trade on a 1971 Duster that I had fixed up to go street racing in the high desert, which never happen because he ended up with that car. He ended up painting two cars for me before he left CA and use to stay with us here in Oregon on occasions when he was in this part of the country. It was really hard on me when I found out from his parents he had been killed on that motorcycle in FL, I know it was a lot harder on his family. RIP, my freind
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
