I had a pict of him when he rolled into MaTS that one year. Open trailer, regular cab dually diesel. They both looked like death warmed over. Not a lot of sleep on that trip!

i met him for the only time when
he delivered a parts car to me the week before he went to fla.
after he got the car dropped off to me,
he spent the rest of whole afternoon into the evening for hours at the shop talking mopars, stuff in general and checking out all the junk i have around.
he made me uncover dig out everything..lol
one freaky thing is
i never imagined that it would be the first and last and only time i ever met the guy.

He trailered his cuda from NY to SE. PA to attend one of our local cruise nights, just because. What a great guy. I was digging thru some old car stuff and found the decal/sticker that someone on the board made in his memory.

First thing I thought of when I saw him that one and only weekend.... cigarettes, truck stop coffee, Mountain Dew..... that's how you drive from PA to Las Vegas . Once they got the road grime washed off the Barracuda it was a dang nice car. He once was having issues with his 99 CTD. I sent him three used APPS sensors I had laying around for test modules to get him going again. They would only set idle validation codes once in a great while and didn't affect driving. Got him back in the saddle. He was just the kind of guy you'd do that for. Lots of them here I've met over the years.... some even not face to face.

RIP my friend. Phil and I made the trek to Norwalk. I broke a bunch of wheel studs on my trailer. He un-hooked his trailer and we went off searching for parts. He was a huge help in helping me fix my issues. He was a very good friend that died way too young.

I still remember there was some sort of full moon at Norwalk, I Think B3 might have had something to do with it!

Phil called me back in the mid to late 1980s when he was in the Air Force at GAFB in Victorville, I got to know him and his wife before they had thier daughter from that call. He had stuck a 383 in a 1972 Dart from back east, I ended up taking that car(Bob R has it now I think) in trade on a 1971 Duster that I had fixed up to go street racing in the high desert, which never happen because he ended up with that car. He ended up painting two cars for me before he left CA and use to stay with us here in Oregon on occasions when he was in this part of the country. It was really hard on me when I found out from his parents he had been killed on that motorcycle in FL, I know it was a lot harder on his family. RIP, my freind

Yes he was a good one, one of the few internet people I got to meet several times and he went through some rough hauls for me without a hitch.

Many that knew him might know the hard divorce he went through and the love he had for his daughter. No parent should have to see the children pass before them and it still bothers me to see hes not with us, but in a way he still is.

Met him in Rockingham when we were running the PFSC series. He helped me find an issue (that really wasn't) w/ my car after I beat him in the previous round. He was a good guy.
