See pic - it just does not appear right. There is no stress on the bar, but the bar is resting on the adjuster. Is this right or am I a "flat" off?

I have the bars installed on the correct side (I think) R on the pass side, L on the driver side.

I think you'll find that there is no way to go "another" flat.
Crank her up.

You need to have the bump stop removed and the adjuster bolt backed off all the way.

I just went thru this about a month ago, and it looks right to me. Each "flat" represents 60 degrees (360 degrees divided by 6 flats). It doesn't sound like much, but you'll find that if you rotate the "socket" another 60 degrees clockwise, you'll be bottomed out, your adjuster bolt will be all the way in, and you'll have no way to raise the suspension on that side.

We always seperate the upper ball joint, back off the adjuster all the way, push the lower control arm as far down as we can, make sure the adjuster is rotated down also. Then we install the t-bar to the nearest flat ,this gives use some preload before we adjust the adjuster.

somewhat off topic, but can you crank the lower arm hex enough to put enough tension on the bar to be able to get the bar's rate to factory specs, but have the car set low in the front ? ie. a "flat off" ?
