Install steering column before or after engine install 1970 340 duster with manual steering whats your thought guys???? Thanks Swifter OH yea almost forgot engine-5.7 Hemi with TTI headers

In my 70 Swinger 340 w/ manual steering, I put it in after the motor was in. No problems at all.

you want all the space you can get, makes a much easier install & minimizes the chances of anything getting nicked/damaged & I drop the center steering link/idler/pitman arms as I want NO contact. It's extra work but I'm a perfectionist(like many on here) & when I'm done it's RIGHT
