My 05 5.7 Magnum keeps burning up coils. It burnt one up a year and a half ago, so I replaced them all. I did plugs, wires and coil packs. Now less than 10,000 miles later it burnt up 2 more coil packs. Last time it was cyl 6, now it is 5 and 7. It has had the ecm rebuilt also. Wondering if the computer is bad. I took off the engine cover to make sure they were not getting to hot. Not sure were to go from here.

what brand are the parts. aftermarket parts seem to be a crap shoot latetly. dorman brand is really bad. usually worn spark plugs and high resistance in the wires burn up coils, but you have replaced that stuff. could be as simple as cheap garbage parts.
