I got a new aluminum fuel cell to replace my crappy plastic cell. I was going to use a fuel return tube kit from JBRC that will put a fule line from the top fitting on the cell down to the bottom of the cell. But couldn't I just weld in a return fitting 1" from the tank floor and away from the pump inlet in like a front corner section of the fuel cell? Also I don't run foam in my cells anymore after I had a motor get killed from foam plugging the fuel filter.

Sure ya can.. it will do the same thing.. just dump
the fuel in the fuel.. not in the air space
EDIT
Just dont direct the fuel towards the pump... I try
to spin the return off the walls

Yeah I was trying to explain it best I could, I geuss I should say on the fuel cell "side wall and back wall corners" if that makes more sense
