I know of four local to me. Two in old PS cars, running 4.60 - .80's and pipe racks running 4.40's. MPHs are 144 to 153. At 1100 base altitude, typically around 2500 DA. Cant give you specific weights or pump numbers - sorry. Pretty certain these owners read this forum. ...but not sure they will or have ever posted....maybe they will chime in on this - - lol

Edvis Miller has one in his Duster, he was an early subscriber to them I think.
His Duster is now running in the 8.50S NA at 3200lbs or somewhere in that area. He says its on pump gas but he carries VP containers on his drag week trailer LOL.
I also think the Australians that come over for drag week are running a predator mill, 7.50s in a 4000lb+ car with twin turbos.

Mine is a 588 with a single 1050 and old version cast intake. I run it in SST the car weighs 2830Lbs it will run 10.90@160 in the Midwest with not real great air. I have only ran it wide open a few times at an 1/8 mile quick race and went 5.20's at an altitude track in SST trim.

Well you know my feelings yet I am building one myself I know of a fair number of them out there. NONE of them make the power that one place claims theres do The one Casey listed has been around awhile, pretty sure it was in a S/C car before. The Wheatcrafts you know of. Dave never had much luck with his which came from a well known Mopar shop and we have discussed that one before. Phil has been running them for a few years as well in TS. He has been 7.teens NA and 6.90's on a small shot at 2350lb Bickle Avenger. You also know his teething pains and how big that one is. I know of two others in Super Comp both cars are high 170mph 4 link cars. GoGreen(Dean) ran one in the Barracuda for a few years before going to the Hemi. There is also Wes in Iowa who has had one for a few years as well in and old Morgan Pro Stocker. Mine will be done someday. We have tried to address some of the issues that some have seem to have had with theirs. Mine as you know has been on the dyno once and had some issues. It has ben back apart since but is getting closer to being done. Just keeps getting put on the back burner to move up others stuff. Hoping by late spring to get it on the dyno. Not expecting earth rotating numbers but it is going on a dyno that is pretty conservative but has had a few Predators on it and certainly plenty of high hp deals so we will have a good idea what it should run in the car. Interested if anyone else chimes in here and shares their REAL WORLD experiences with them. Most I know of have had issues with them. A couple with Big Name Mopar engine builders

mine is a 598ci, i just got it back together in november. {only took five months} to finish it. it only makes 1125 hp with the cam that is in it now. i took the nitrous off it but it still has the nitrous cam in it. two years ago it ran 7.50 @ 187 without the nitrous. it's going to get a new cam this summer with the help of boatracer572 tony. it should make over 1200 hp when he is done with it.

I went 7.51@178 in Salt Lake City with a broken valve spring (found later), smallish headers, and 6600ft corrected altitude. My dragster weighs 2010 lbs with me in the seat. I'm hoping it runs 7.1 something at MATS in Vegas next month. I'm just wondering what others have and what some of their results are.

My 572" made 1231 hp.@ 8400 and 865 tq@ 6800 on a tight dyno....my new 604" won't be going on a dyno , but it should make north of 1260hp.... Steve gill has a 556" that made over 1240 from what I heard... As far as results... Well ,I've been over 160 mph. In my boat with the 572"..

Wes some interesting powerplants in that pic. Whats up with the TS motor? Would think that thing has to make some power.

If you want to go fast with predator, you need to talk to Pete or Chuck at Best Machine. They have the experience with these heads and know what they need. HP numbers only matter in a pissing contest. ET/MPH tell the real story. Have been 4.69@150 2350# p/s avenger. 612 N/A, glide with a conv that's still 200-300 tight. Std cam height and a less than desirable intake.

Plenty of them out there running. The one thing I have seen from the ones I personally know is reliability and longevity.

The thing about dyno numbers.......is it is JUST that, a number. You go into a shop, plunk down your hard earned money, tell them you WANT a 1200hp Predator motor, you can about bet they will produce a dyno sheet that says it makes that. But the race track doesn't lie. What does it weigh and how much mph does it run. THAT tells you how much power it makes. I know when we ran in a N/A class....our "weak" 632 made 1160 on a dyno I trusted and I ran the numbers my self. Yet at the track, at the same weight, we were outrunning and out mphing cars with motors that made nearly 1300hp............ Now HOW is that possible.........LOL!!! We DON'T race dynos...........LOL!!!
