Anybody bought a set of the AMD 70/71 fenders? Any count?

Wife wants to get me something for our 20 years wedding anniversary, I thought of these for the demon.

at $500 each new why not excellent original fenders for much less?

I got one of the first sets of 69 Dart fenders and they were spot-on. Only two exceptions were made, one hole for GT trim that other models would not have and the skirt at the back of the fender that turns down towards the inner fender was just a little to long, but I was impressed overall. Haven't taken a look at the 70-71 fenders, so I cannot comment on how they fit or how the extension looks on them. As far as buying a good used fender for less than $500, good luck with that...

There is a near mint, original paint '71 Demon fender on FABO for sale in NorCal for $100.00 obo and it has sat unsold for a month now...

Last one I bought out in Phoenix cost $250 and I was happy to get it! Next time I come out I hope you have a couple dozen 67-72 fenders sitting for me to transport back to the RustWest...

Just thought of something, my car is radio delete so a new fender will have that darn hole in it.

I'd think pretty much all the used fenders will have the same hole as well.
If your up for a clean used set let me know.

I'm luckly to get 250 for a real nice, clean, rust free A-body fender.

Still pretty cheap around here too, and don't forget, Darts are a lot more common than Demons and they are the same fenders. I still see them for sale around here on occasion, if you look for a while you'll find some.

I bought a set paid nowhere near 500 each though. Fit well from what I see so far. Project kinda ran out of steam so can say if they are perfect but lines look good.
