SGTFURY62 top fuel Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,954 Illinois	I'm in same boat with another panel. Have wondered if could grind broken studs flat and cut another stud off another panel (something more modern and available) and use panel bond to stick the new stud on? Panel bond on sheet metal is supposed to be stick them together stronger than stock. Maybe it'd work on studs?

gtx6970 Too Many Posts Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 21,549 It's a dry heat	An idea I've thought about is , grind the damaged area/broken stud flat with the panel. Then drill and tap it to say a 10-24 thread and put s machine threaded stud in it
