Beep Beep OP super stock B Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 749 NY	Hi, Can someone answer this question regarding installing carpet in a Road Runner. I replaced the carpet in my car a couple years back when installing the gas pedal I mounted the pedal on top of the carpet. When I installed the bracket for the gas pedal 3/4 of the pedal bracket is mounted on the carpet and the remaining amount is mounted on the floor of the car. Is this correct or should the bracket be mounted completely on the metal floor. Can someone please post some pics. Thanks

The pedal that is attached to the floor is installed correctly but the pedal bracket with the arm that is attached to the firewall is mounted on top of the carpet. This has to go behind the carpet.
