How did the factory modify the dash bezel for a heater delete option on the 63 Dodge - were the control slots not punched out on the bezel?

On the radio delete cars did the fender not have the antenna hole cut out or was there a plug for the fender?
Thanks
Steve R

The chrome bezel (factory calls it a plate) was cast without the holes for the pushbuttons or the slot for the heat handle. There were four distinct plates depending on the transmission and with/without heat/AC.

The radio delete fender had no hole.

Nice car!

I have a radio delete fender on my car and they were not punched.

OK - Thanks for the compliment.

Here is one of the Interior - I really want to remove the heater controls - but want to have it look correct.

I deleted the heater so I'd like to find a plate that has both sides deleted or blanked off...

My bad on the description of the heater delete plate, forgot the two buttons for fresh air.

Part number 2290176 is the plate for standard trans and heater delete.

Yes - I checked the older thread on Moparts - so then there is also a separate vent control that should be behind the plate also?

I wonder if these parts are out there, I have tried a bunch of junkyards out in the southwest - figure there would be some heater delete cars out there - no luck so far.

As I remember, the heater delete has a single vacuum pot that opens/closes the cowl vent door so the two buttons are OFF and VENT.

The heater delete plate is very hard to find paid 500 dollar in the 90s and last I seen sold for around 1400.dollars good luck on your hunt.
