Thinking of adding a vacuum port for tuning purposes. I have a Quick fuel P950 carb, and it doesn't have any vacuum ports. I would rather not tap & thread my intake if I don't have to. Heard of adding a spacer & tapping it for a port but don't have enough room under the hood to run a spacer. I do have a wedge plate on it that's .830" thick at its thickest point. Think that's enough to add a vacuum port?

Thats plenty of meat to tap... if you want to go
smaller than 1/8" pipe you can go with 1/16"pipe
but the signal is a touch slower to the gauge
