mike, I have not used the "right Stuff" yet, one of the local Mopar guys assembled a motor that a freind of mine bought the top end off of. He had to disassemble the intake manifold, heads and the Bulldog valley pan which had been sealed with the "Right Stuff". He really fought getting the valley pan off of the block without breaking it, no kidding
. He tried a small screw drivers, then a gasket scraper to pry the valley pan loose form thr block, he also treid using carb cleaner squirted into the surfaces and finally used a hammer and a flat chisel to break it loose from the block and split the valley pan pieces apart
He won't use that stuff now
I agree with those advocating the Mopar brand RTV, black and grey
The black transmission and rear end sealer works good on everything I have treid it on, it is design to seal up synthetic lubricants and does that very well
