Lmopar69 OP enthusiast Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 392 Doniphan, Nebraska	Didn't dodge switch to the NV 3500 behind the 3.9 in the Dakota? Found a 2wd 97 v-6 5 speed. I want to put the trans behind a LA small block, 318 or 360, in a 46 dodge 1/2 ton. How can your average junk yard scrounger tell the difference between the ax15 and the nv 3500?

scratchnfotraction I Live Here S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 15,487 Florida	ax15 has removable bell housing = 9 bolts in a horseshoe shape around front input bearing on the inside of bell. nv3500 bell is intergraded into the main case/body. the main case is 2 piece with a front back 1/2. nv3500 is bigger next to ax15
