Windshield wipers, all new wiring to the bulkhead connector, Emergency brake assembly, all insulation, and just make sure everything in your dash does work.

Spend the extra time to check continuity on all switches and wires in the dash harness. Repair any broken or melted wires/connectors,replace any bad switches.
As mentioned, it is easier to have all the switches and wiring installed in the dash, then hang the dash as one assembly.
Plug and play from there.

One of the other benefits of the list is it gave me goals and bench marks of things I wanted to accomplish in certain time periods and allowed me to make sure I had the parts lined up in advance. I work 2 weeks and am home for 2 weeks so I would highlight my goals and prepare for them and change the color as items were completd so that game me a sense of progress. I really strated the assembly in Oct or 13, fired the engine by the 1st of 14 and backed it out of the shop under it's own power for the first time in 20 years on March 31, 14. The first week of June I set out on a 4400 mile trip including countless shows in along the way, Carlisle and the Nats and drove the 1100 miles home in 2 days after the Nats. I changed the oil once, swapped the distributor by choice not force and replaced an exhaust flange gasket. I considered it successful. Again, this was a very useful tool, hope it helps you as much as it did me.

I've also used Ricks list. It's awesome!

If it's a B body, you need to put the windshield in after the dash because of the way the dash assembly attaches.

Yes, very important to know if the windshield needs a gasket or butyl. My 71 B body was butyl so I was able to remove and install the dash with the windshield in place. My 71 Duster uses a gasket so the windshield needs to go in after the dash.
