Hi!

Im building a 383 engine for a friend and we are going to mount it in his 69 charger.

He has power steering.

I am looking for a complete bracket and pulley setup for his engine that will work with power steering. We also need to get a new power steering pump.

Does anybody know where can I get a complete setup for a low price? Not looking into spending a lot in this.

Does he care about being period correct? if not just go to a junk yard pop the hood of the 1st C-body you find, if it's a BB just take it all off of that. That or search e-bay. I gave all my PS stuff away over the summer, I kept tripping over it. I might have a 4 grove pulley if you need one.

Im in Lima Peru....would love to have such a junkyard around!!!

I guess my best bet is to email some of the used parts dealers...all the brand new stuff is really expensive and my buddy doesnt want to spend 500 bucks on pulleys and brackets for sure...

You might want to contact 440 Source for that stuff I got a nice set of re-pop pullys for my car under $100 bucks and they fit and look perfect.
I will check with my buddy he has a few early core engines laying in the barn.

Randy Bouchillon gets my money. Their stuff is excellent and fits RIGHT! They powder coat everything so it looks great. They are also super good on the phone with tech questions. If you can get a list of what you need from Bouchillon Performance, you can order it from Summitracing.com and you'll get free shipping for over $100. Since it's Bouchillon's stuff, you can still call them for tech questions.

I’m listening.

its ironic that you post a wanted ad for parts cheap but ask a fortune for your own stuff. makes me want to go to the shop and dig out stuff for you.

Did you place a want add here on moparts?
I have a couple sets, but want to hang on to them.
My point is there might be some members here that can help.
Then there is;
Desert Valley Auto Parts in Arizona.
Also might want to try Wildcat Auto Salvage in Washington.
Either will have the old original stuff.
They are salvage yards that specilize in vintage parts.
Can't say for sure, but should be cheaper then repops.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

Actually his parts are cheap , it's the included shipping from PERU that's adds up ...

I bought a 440 Source double groove crank pulley for PS, the instructions noted engine not to exceed 5,000 RPM.

My pulleys have been to 6800 probably 50 times and they didn't fly off

Absolutely untrue. No pulley we have ever sold has ever had any kind of RPM limit. Our pulleys don't even include instructions, and never have. Installation and use is pretty obvious.
