Where to buy? I'm considering stepping up from my Edelbrocks on my street/strip 408. Most likely 360-1, I'd like to buy them ported with rockers, bolts and intake. Who do you guys use and why?

Thanks

DO NOT buy from Indy directly.
Get them bare through a Dealer and have them assemble and PRESSURE check?
Money well spent.
Good product but lousy service.

Maybe it's just me but it don't sound like a good product if a brand new one needs pressure checked I do hear that a lot about their products though

The quality scares me, maybe I'll wait and see if Edelbrock actually makes their new head. The only thing about the Edelbrocks is that I may be to old to mess with them when they come out.

JMO.. but if you go through a dealer I believe you
will have way less of a issue.. you can return them
to the dealer and let him deal with Indy IF there is
any issue... again.... JMO call Bob George and ask...
OR call Shady Dell Speed Shop and ask Ryan.. I dont
know why he no longer post here.. but he might be
one of my choices to port them being its in your hood

I inquired about going the Indy route after my W5 liquidation..... got a lot of similar stories of sub par castings, and water where it shouldn't be. Wasn't at all interested in the possibilty of reliving that experience. I patiently waited for the "new" Edelbrocks to rise from the dust......that was 2012. Good luck!

I have an early set and a later set. both fully ported. no problems with water but I did have to tube the head bolt holes on the set that's max ported.

save your money stick with what you have and if you need more power gas it ,you are only getting around 28 cfm more with them and there rockers springs are junk and you will need a bigger cam and more comp to see the power impove it a bit and xross your legs they do not leak

most of the problems were with the older heads and most with the cnc 245 deal. I have seen eddies heads leak too.
