I have a friend who is looking for some info. He has a 440-6 challenger with track pack, shaker and gator top. He is not internet savy and asked me to find out if there is someone he could talk to (phone number) to get started with some documentation/production figures. Any info would be welcomed. Thanks.

he can get a production figure here .

What kind of documentation is he looking for?

If he doesn't have any with the car already chances of finding some are slim and .... nothing exists ...

Production figures that combine multiple options do not exist.

Records for some cars that are not with their cars now but could be, do exist in multiple cases.

Is the car orange by chance?

He's got the build sheet, fender tag and a write up by Galen Govier. But it's a typed out sheet of what's on the build sheet. I think he was looking for how many where built that way.

Alaskan no it's B5.....I'm glad the top brown fades, would have horrible when new I think.

Chrysler did not track how many of any type of car were built with any group of options, so there is no way to know how many like it may have been made.

I have heard of one possible match so far, but all I have is a small cropped image of a broadcast sheet & it does not show the bottom where N96 would be coded.

Is there a way to get production % or # for individual options?

Yes, just no way to combine them like (for eg.) a Marti report for a Ford.

What I have;

JS23.0....... 14,889 cars
JS23V0....... 1,640 cars; 793 autos and 847 4spds
JS23.0 with N96 shaker - 164 (all engines)
JS23.0 with Gator grain - approximately 314 (based on percentages)
JS23V0 with A33 Track Pak? it was mandatory with the 440-6 4spd and not available with an auto so 847 minus however many 4spd cars came with the A34 Super Track Pak.

....these are all US production numbers and don't include Canadian or export cars.

I'm far from an E body expert, so Dan or someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Should change that to "not known to exist"
The Chrysler SG30 Option and accessory report for 1970 is what....900 pages long ? How many pages are currently in circulation...maybe 50 to 100 ? Bet there is tons of info in that report....and somebody has it just does not want to share it.I saw some info that Galen got from a Canadian source on 71 Super Bees....it had a breakdown on cars produced at the 3 plants ....how many 340 4 speeds from each plant etc.

this is the kind of stuff he is looking for, would love to know exactly how many optioned that way, but I understand the lack of info from Chrysler corp. Is there a place to see a large breakdown of production numbers/% of say a list of option individually? Another question, does anyone know of another gator, 6pack, shaker, 4 speed out there?

I only have a partial VIN for it, but I know the vehicle order number. If you want to email a scan of your broadcast sheet, a photo of the fender tag or at least the vehicle order number I could at least confirm it is the same one I heard of or possibly a near twin.
