I get to the line and let off and the engine braking slows the car down, it would be nice to have no engine braking in 2nd so I could just shift back up to 2nd and coast with the engine idling.
Is there a valve body for a 727 that has this feature?

The no LBA VB will do that in low but none I know
of will do that in second.. the only other thing
would be the clean neutral(after high gear)... but
with a manual VB you are in the gear your shifter
is in.. as in the shifter is in high.. your in high
even standing still

Clean N transbrake. Call Dave, he's doing a batch right now that will be done mid month.

If you go that route, make sure your shifter is capable of the change. I know PPP shifter and Turbo Action Cheetah can both be used with a gate change.

Yeah I've got a Cheetah lying around, so does it add an extra neutral after 3rd or just move the neutral to after 3rd?

like PRN123N, or PR123N?

P-N-1-2-3-N..... If using the Cheetah shifter they (turbo action) have a gate for it. Dave will also put the proper slider for the N safety switch so you'll only be able to start in P and the last N as the SCS shifter doesn't have provision for N safety.

I wish I would have done this because I never use my reverse position on the shifter.

Jay he should know with Dave's clean neutral v.b. neutral/reverse is the same shifter position, apply t-brake for reverse P-N/R-1-2-3-N.
It helps to have a trans brake switch where it is comfortable for backing up.

? You should be coming out of the burn out box in 3rd. roll out bang it back up to N clean as needed drop to 1 and roll into staging. Or are you talking about the stripe at the big end?
